Student’s Paper on Animal Welfare Labeling Wins Writing Competition
Increasing third-year legislation student Sean Sullivan’s paper, “Empowering Market Regulation of Agricultural Animal Welfare through Product Labeling,” won the Bob Barker Prize in Animal Law, Ethics and Rights.
A paper authored by increasing third-year legislation student Sean Sullivan that calls for enhanced animal welfare item labeling has won the Bob Barker Prize in Animal Law, Ethics and Rights.
Sullivan’s paper, “Empowering Market Regulation of Agricultural Animal Welfare through Product Labeling,” took beginning in the annual pupil writing contest sponsored because of the University of Virginia class of Law’s Animal Law Program. Sullivan recently talked about the Law School to his paper.
